This promotion is open only to registered CrossCurrent users who comply with all platform terms, account requirements, and applicable laws in their region. Participation is voluntary and subject to these rules.
A “newly registered invite” means a new user who: (a) registers during the event period using your unique referral code, (b) has never previously held a CrossCurrent account under any email, phone number, or identity, and (c) may have a $0 balance at the time of registration. These invites can be submitted and counted inside the rewards platform even if they have not yet made a deposit.
A “valid referral” for the $5 reward means a member who:
was originally invited via your referral code and is correctly linked to your account in the system, and
previously did not voluntarily make a first deposit into their account, and
during this promotion completes their first deposit of at least $10 using their own funds (bonus-only or gift-only balances do not count as a voluntary deposit).acorns+1
Members who already received the past Christmas $10 bonus may still qualify as valid referrals, provided they have not previously completed a voluntary first deposit before this event.
For every member who meets the conditions of a valid referral in clause 3, the linked referrer will receive a $5 cash reward after the qualifying deposit is successfully received, verified, and not reversed, canceled, or charged back. Processing times and risk checks may cause delays in reward crediting.
There is no limit to the number of valid referrals you can make under this promotion; however, CrossCurrent reserves the right to review, delay, cap, or deny rewards if fraud, abuse, gaming of the system, use of fake/duplicate identities, or any violation of these rules or the general Terms of Service is suspected.
Any user found to have created, or assisted in creating, multiple accounts, self-referrals, or referrals that are not genuine, unique individuals may be disqualified. CrossCurrent may void associated rewards and, where necessary, close or restrict affected accounts.
Ranking for bonus rewards is based solely on the number of valid referrals (as defined above) completed within the official event period: Philippine Time, January 9 – January 16, 23:59. Registrations or deposits completed before or after this period do not count toward rankings, even if linked to your code.
Final rankings, the awarding of any additional cash reward, and any promotion to Team Admin status (including the requirement that a team reaches at least 5 members) are determined at the sole discretion of CrossCurrent and are subject to verification of all referred accounts and transactions. All such decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Team Admin status and any related privileges, revenue-sharing, or leadership benefits may be modified, suspended, or revoked if ongoing activity requirements, minimum team size, or conduct standards are not maintained, or if any form of abuse, non-compliance, or policy violation is detected.
Rewards are non-transferable, have no cash value outside the platform except as explicitly paid out by CrossCurrent, and may not be sold, exchanged, or bartered. Any applicable taxes, fees, or reporting obligations arising from rewards are the sole responsibility of the participant.
CrossCurrent may amend, suspend, or terminate this promotion (in whole or in part) or update these rules at any time for operational, legal, regulatory, or security reasons, with or without prior notice, provided that changes will not retroactively remove rewards already earned on fully verified, completed valid referrals.
This promotion is void where prohibited by law. Participation in this event constitutes acceptance of these rules, as well as CrossCurrent’s general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any applicable risk disclosures.
